ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,477,202, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co. Ltd. (Suwon-si, South Korea).
"Camera module" was invented by Hyun Kim (Suwon-si, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A camera module includes a first prism having refractive power, a first lens module disposed adjacently to an object-side surface of the first prism, and a first driving member driving the first lens module in a direction intersecting an optical axis."
