ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,439,759, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to Samsung Display Co. Ltd. (Yongin-si, South Korea).
"Tiled display device" was invented by Dong Jin Park (Hwaseong-si, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A tiled display device includes a base part including a first substrate and a pad part, display devices disposed on the base part, each of the display devices including a second substrate and a display layer disposed on an upper surface of the second substrate, and a conductive adhesive part disposed between the base part and the display devices and electrically connecting the base part to the display devices."
