US Patent Issued to Sakuu on June 24 for "Printing method for additive manufacturing, including in-situ powder regeneration" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,337,543, issued on June 24, was assigned to Sakuu Corp. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Printing method for additive manufacturing, including in-situ powder regeneration" was invented by Steven Zhichao Shi (Santa Clara, Calif.) and Morteza Vatani (Los Gatos, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An in-situ material regeneration method and system are provided that enable recovery, reconditioning and reuse of used build materials, including removed powder and removed liquids, thus increasing material utilization efficiency and reducing manufacturing costs."
