ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,325,267, issued on June 10, was assigned to SAFRAN LANDING SYSTEMS (Velizy Villacoublay, France).

"Wheel comprising an internal inflation channel, landing gear and an aircraft comprising such a wheel" was invented by Sylvain Moline (Moissy-Cramayel, France) and Yannick Tarnowski (Moissy-Cramayel, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A vehicle wheel includes a rim having mounted thereon an inflation valve and a tire. The inflation valve is extended by an inflation channel extending through the rim and opening out into a volume of gas defined by the rim and the tire. The inflation valve is arranged in the vicinity of a flange of the rim."...
