ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,306,239, issued on May 20, was assigned to SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES (Paris).
"Diagnosis of an aircraft engine control unit" was invented by Yvan Jean-Rene Battut (Moissy-Cramayel, France), Gwenael Thierry Esteve (Moissy-Cramayel, France) and Mathieu Jean Jacques Santin (Moissy-Cramayel, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A device and a method for diagnosing an engine control unit of an aircraft, the device including an autonomous and mobile electronic diagnostic unit and connecting means for connecting the unit to an engine control unit of an aircraft, the connecting means advantageously including a single connection cable."
