ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,447,488, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to S. C. JOHNSON & SON INC. (Racine, Wis.).

"Dispenser with a visual indication system" was invented by Jesse Richard (Racine, Wis.), Michael Haynes (Muskego, Wis.), Richard Watson (Norwell, Mass.) and Seth Frankel (Arlington, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A light ring for a flowable medium dispenser includes an annular shape and is coupled to a body of a dispenser."

The patent was filed on Jan. 15, 2020, under Application No. 16/743,933.
