ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,410,729, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to RTX Corp. (Farmington, Conn.).

"Pre-ceramic thermal barrier for gas turbine engine components" was invented by Connor C. Perry (West Hartford, Conn.), Xiaomei Fang (South Glastonbury, Conn.), Bradley L.
