ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,366,216, issued on July 22, was assigned to RTX Corp. (Farmington, Conn.).
"Thrust reverser in condenser exit duct" was invented by Jesse M. Chandler (S. Windsor, Conn.) and Neil J. Terwilliger (Cheshire, Conn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An aircraft propulsion system includes a thrust reverser assembly that includes a reverser door corresponding to a cooling air outlet duct for directing a cooling air flow from a condenser forward."
The patent was filed on Oct. 9, 2024, under Application No. 18/910,173.
