ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,625, issued on July 15, was assigned to RTX Corp. (Farmington, Conn.).

"Excess fuel flow to drive turbine" was invented by Joseph Turney (Amston, Conn.) and Michael K. Ikeda (West Hartford, Conn.).
