ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,234,791, issued on Feb. 25, was assigned to RTX Corp. (Farmington, Conn.).

"Geared turbomachine fan and compressor rotation" was invented by William G. Sheridan (Southington, Conn.) and Michael E. McCune (Colchester, Conn.).
