ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,521,523, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to Route 92 Medical Inc. (San Mateo, Calif.).

"Catheter systems for applying effective suction in remote vessels and thrombectomy procedures facilitated by catheter systems" was invented by Matthew F. Ogle (Edina, Minn.), James Alexander (Excelsior, Minn.) and Alexander Halaszyn (St. Paul, Minn.).
