US Patent Issued to Rosy Soil PBC on July 29 for "Soil composition including biochar, compost, and bark fines" (New York Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,371,391, issued on July 29, was assigned to Rosy Soil PBC (N.Y.).

"Soil composition including biochar, compost, and bark fines" was invented by Chad Massura (New York) and Justin Giuliano (New York).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A soil composition including: a biochar proportion greater than five percent by volume; a compost proportion greater than ten percent by volume; and a bark fine proportion greater than ten percent by volume, the bark fine proportion characterized by a bark fine particle size of 3.0-10.0 millimeters."

The patent was filed on Oct. 4, 2024, under Application No. 18/907,328.
