ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,478,654, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Roquette Freres (Lestrem, France).

"Pea protein composition having improved nutritional quality" was invented by Aline Lecocq (Mouvaux, France) and Mathias Ibert (La Chapelle d'Armentieres, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a pea protein composition, the nutritional quality of which, in particular the PDCAAS thereof, is improved, as well as to a method for producing same and to the use of this composition in a food or pharmaceutical composition."
