ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,342,837, issued on July 1, was assigned to Roquette Freres (Lestrem, France).

"Composition comprising textured leguminous proteins" was invented by Thomas Buche (Quiestede, France), Charlotte Dlubak (Estaires, France) and Andre Engel (Vreeland, Netherlands).
