US Patent Issued to ROLAPAL on April 8 for "Cushion" (New Zealander Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,268,306, issued on April 8, was assigned to ROLAPAL Ltd. (Auckland, New Zealand).

"Cushion" was invented by Roydon Mark Scarlett (Manukau, New Zealand).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cushion is disclosed herein, including an elongate inflatable bag and a jacket that has a plurality of sleeves, wherein the bag is inflated and is releasably engaged with the jacket such that the bag extends through and turns between the sleeves."

The patent was filed on Oct. 1, 2021, under Application No. 17/491,644.
