ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,479,201, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to ROHR INC. (Chula Vista, Calif.).
"Forming pattern for cellular core by folding material" was invented by Michael A. Scamardo (San Diego).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A formation method is provided during which a pattern is formed by folding a sheet of material. A first mold is formed by depositing mold material with the pattern. The pattern is separated from the first mold. A cellular core for a structured panel is formed by depositing core material with the first mold."
The patent was filed on July 6, 2023, under Application No. 18/218,789.
