US Patent Issued to Rohm and Haas on March 18 for "Method of cleaning plastic with dispersant copolymer" (Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,252,670, issued on March 18, was assigned to Rohm and Haas Co. (Collegeville, Pa.).

"Method of cleaning plastic with dispersant copolymer" was invented by Scott Backer (Phoenixville, Pa.) and Paul Mercando (Pennsburg, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of cleaning a plastic article in an automatic dishwashing machine is provided, comprising: selecting an automatic dishwashing composition for cleaning plastic, wherein the automatic dishwashing composition, comprises: a builder; a phosphonate; a nonionic surfactant; and a dispersant polymer comprising: (a) 60 to greater than90 wt % of structural units of formula Iwherein each R1 ...
