ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,300,798, issued on May 13, was assigned to ROGERS Corp. (Chandler, Ariz.).

"Multilayer sheet for preventing thermal runaway" was invented by Jing Jiang (Suzhou, China), Wei Wang (Burlington, Mass.), Jian Zhang (Suzhou, China), Lei Liu (Suzhou, China), Christopher Churchill (Dayville, Conn.), Aniruddha Shere (Chelmsford, Mass.) and Murali Sethumadhavan (Waxhaw, N.C.).
