ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,314,039, issued on May 27, was assigned to Rockwell Automation Technologies Inc. (Mayfield Heights, Ohio).

"Providing a model as an industrial automation object" was invented by Jordan C. Reynolds (Austin, Texas), John J. Hagerbaumer (Mequon, Wis.), Troy W. Mahr (Pleasant Prairie, Wis.), Thomas K. Jacobsen (Wake Forest, N.C.) and Giancarlo Scaturchio (Pisa, Italy).
