ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,434,343, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, N.Y.).

"Calibration-based tool condition monitoring system for repetitive machining operations" was invented by Rui Liu (Pittsford, N.Y.).
