US Patent Issued to Roche Sequencing Solutions, Kapa Biosystems on Sept. 30 for "Primer extension target enrichment" (South African, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,428,679, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Roche Sequencing Solutions Inc. (Pleasanton, Calif.) and Kapa Biosystems Inc. (Wilmington, Mass.).

"Primer extension target enrichment" was invented by Brian C. Godwin (Livermore, Calif.), Joseph Platzer (Berkeley, Calif.), Janine Mok (Palo Alto, Calif.), Jo-Anne Penkler (Cape Town, South Africa) and Bronwen Miller (Cape Town, South Africa).
