ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,778, issued on April 15, was assigned to Roche Diagnostics Operations Inc. (Indianapolis).
"Anti-troponin T antibodies" was invented by Frank Kroner (Geretsried-Gelting, Germany), Michael Schraeml (Penzberg, Germany) and Sarah Liedke (Penzberg, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to improved variant monoclonal antibodies binding to cardiac troponin T and having a better KD than the monoclonal antibody 12.1A11.11-7, produced by hybridoma clone 7.1 A 12.2-22 (ECACC 89060901) as deposited with European Collection of Animal Cell Cultures, GB."
