ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,433,504, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to ROBEAUTE (Paris), SORBONNE UNIVERSITE (Paris) and CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE (Paris).

"Position tracking system for tracking an internal device during an imaging" was invented by Quentin Francois (Paris), Bertrand Duplat (Paris), Sinan Haliyo (Paris), Stephane Regnier (Paris) and Pierre Zarader (Paris).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A signal tracking system including: one fixation element to be secured to a rigid body part of the patient surrounding a target body part, the fixation element further including a mapping element, one tracker element to be secured to the fixation elem...
