ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,304,353, issued on May 20, was assigned to Rivian IP Holdings LLC (Irvine, Calif.).

"Thermal architecture for providing cooling in electric vehicles" was invented by Henry Huang (Ann Arbor, Mich.) and Mayur Prakash Gaikwad (Irvine, Calif.).
