ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,300,854, issued on May 13, was assigned to Rivian IP Holdings LLC (Irvine, Calif.).

"Overmolded current collector assembly" was invented by Tyler Jacobs (Hawthorne, Calif.) and Eldon James Summerson (Omaha, Neb.).
