ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,324,425, issued on June 10, was assigned to RiverSmith Inc. (Boulder, Colo.).
"Rod carrier" was invented by Jason Thomas (Denver) and John McGowan (Boulder, Colo.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A rod carrier includes a main body elongated along a longitudinal axis and having a U-shaped cross-sectional profile. A reel box is coupled to one end of the main body and a nose cone is coupled to an opposite end. One or more tube members are coupled to the nose cone. At least one of the one or more tube members being curved relative to the longitudinal axis or flexible."
The patent was filed on July 10, 2023, under Application No. 18/349,598.
