ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,163, issued on March 18, was assigned to RIETSCHIN TECHNOLOGY LICENSING LLC (Sammamish, Wash.).
"Adaptive gear change strategy" was invented by Axel Rietschin (Sammamish, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method allowing the determination of the optimal gear shift engine speeds for a self-propelled vehicle equipped with a multi-gear transmission."
