ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,443,136, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to RICOH COMPANY LTD. (Tokyo).
"Sensor holder, unit, and image forming apparatus" was invented by Takahiro Imada (Kanagawa, Japan), Yoshikuni Sasaki (Kanagawa, Japan) and Takuya Seshita (Kanagawa, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A sensor holder is provided that includes a single snap fitter, and a regulator. The single snap fitter holds a sensor. The regulator regulates a harness extending from the sensor by a regulation force such that the sensor is pushed to the snap fitter by the regulation force."
The patent was filed on Jan. 23, 2024, under Application No. 18/419,567.
