According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A display device includes a thin portion, a thick portion, and an interface portion. The thin portion includes a display. The thick portion is disposed on a rear face of the thin portion thicker than the thin portion. The thick portion includes a recess. The interface portion connects to a connector of a cable for connection with an external device. The interface portion is disposed in the recess of the thick portion."
