ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,304,823, issued on May 20, was assigned to RHODIA OPERATIONS (Paris).
"Precipitated silica and process for its manufacture" was invented by Emmanuelle Allain Najman (L'hay les Roses, France), Cedric Feral-Martin (Emerainville, France), Pascaline Garbey (Saint Didier Au Mont d'or, France), Laurent Guy (Rillieux-la-Pape, France), Sylvaine Neveu (Paris) and Caroline Fayolle (Lyons, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A precipitated silica containing are least one element M selected from the group consisting of B, Al, Ga and mixtures thereof and characterized by the presence of specific acid sites on its surface and a process for its manuf...
