US Patent Issued to Revolution Medicines on April 22 for "Ras inhibitors" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,280,113, issued on April 22, was assigned to Revolution Medicines Inc. (Redwood City, Calif.).

"Ras inhibitors" was invented by Elena S. Koltun (Foster City, Calif.), James Cregg (Belmont, Calif.), Yang Liu (Foster City, Calif.) and Adrian L. Gill (Atherton, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The disclosure features macrocyclic compounds, and pharmaceutical compositions and protein complexes thereof, capable of inhibiting Ras proteins, and their uses in the treatment of cancers."
