ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,309,245, issued on May 20, was assigned to Resolution Products LLC (St. Paul, Minn.).

"Universal protocol translator" was invented by Brian K. Seemann (Lakeville, Minn.), David J. Mayne (Eagan, Minn.), Paul G. Saldin (Stillwater, Minn.), Daniel Mondor (Somerset, Wis.) and Joshua Hauser (New Brighton, Minn.).
