ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,239,727, issued on March 4, was assigned to RepoCeuticals A/S (Horsholm, Denmark).
"Compositions for use in the treatment of photosensitivity" was invented by Lars Otto Uttenthal (Madrid) and Torsten Bjorn (Kvistgard, Denmark).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Compositions comprising melatonin and/or derivatives thereof for topical application to the skin for use in the treatment of photosensitivity of whatever cause are described."
