ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,276,532, issued on April 15, was assigned to Renesas Electronics America Inc. (Milpitas, Calif.).

"Display screen position sensing using inductive sensing" was invented by Gustavo James Mehas (Mercer Island, Wash.), Damla Acar (La Mesa, Calif.), Ashley De Wolfe (San Diego), Pooja Agrawal (Milpitas, Calif.) and Nicholaus Wayne Smith (La Mesa, Calif.).
