ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,485,362, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Regents of the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis).

"Convection enhanced evaporation" was invented by Prakash Bhalekar (Minneapolis), Mustafa F. Kaddoura (Minneapolis) and Natasha C. Wright (Shakopee, Minn.).
