ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,529,072, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Tarrytown, N.Y.).

"Transcription modulation in animals using CRISPR/CAS systems" was invented by Charleen Hunt (Dumont, N.J.), Suzanne Hartford (Putnam Valley, N.Y.), Guochun Gong (Pleasantville, N.Y.) and Brian Zambrowicz (Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.).
