ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,432,269, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Red Hat Inc. (Raleigh, N.C.).
"Utilizing reinforcement learning for serverless function tuning" was invented by Jinjun Xiong (Goldens Bridge, N.Y.), Roland Ludwig Huss (Bavaria, Germany) and Huamin Chen (Westford, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "One or more metrics associated with performance of a serverless function chain are received. The one or more metrics are used by a reinforcement learning (RL) model to tune the serverless function chain."
