ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,238,173, issued on Feb. 25, was assigned to Red Hat Inc. (Raleigh, N.C.).

"Using wireless charging to redistribute power resources within a mesh network" was invented by Leigh Griffin (Waterford, Ireland) and Pierre-Yves Chibon (Paris la Defense, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system and method of using wireless charging to redistribute power resources within a mesh network. The method includes monitoring, by a processing device of a control node of the mesh network, a plurality of nodes of the mesh network to obtain a power distribution (PD) report comprising a plurality of battery levels associated with the plurality of nodes....
