ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,318,922, issued on June 3, was assigned to ReconRobotics Inc. (Edina, Minn.).
"Magnetic lock with throwable robot" was invented by Alex J. Kossett (Minnetonka, Minn.) and Andrew Drenner (Savage, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A two wheeled throwable robot comprises an elongate chassis with two ends, a motor at each end, drive wheels connected to the motors, and a tail extending from the elongate chassis.
