ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,282,168, issued on April 22, was assigned to RealD Spark LLC (Boulder, Colo.).

"Anamorphic directional illumination device with selective light-guiding" was invented by Michael G. Robinson (Boulder, Colo.), Graham J. Woodgate (Henley-on-Thames, Great Britain), Jonathan Harrold (Leamington Spa, Great Britain) and Austin Wilson (Tempe, Ariz.).
