ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,252,422, issued on March 18, was assigned to RDP TECHNOLOGIES INC. (Conshohocken, Pa.).
"Process for treating sludge" was invented by Richard W. Christy (Wayne, Pa.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Process for treating sludge includes a first segment in which a batch of sludge and lime are mixed with the addition of supplement heat to achieve an elevated processing temperature and a second segment in which the mixer is maintained at a lower temperature to dry the interior of the mixing device after processing the batch."
The patent was filed on Nov. 2, 2021, under Application No. 17/517,277.
