ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,360,158, issued on July 15, was assigned to Raytheon Co. (Waltham, Mass.).

"Method of creating an electronically readable optical fingerprint to protect an electrical interconnect" was invented by Peter A. Bellus (Tucson, Ariz.) and Patrick M. Sain (Torrance, Calif.).
