ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,279,596, issued on April 22, was assigned to Ray Allen Manufacturing LLC (Colorado Springs, Colo.).
"Interchangeable harness system" was invented by Matt Akenhead (Bedford, Va.), Matt Wilson (Peyton, Colo.) and Billy Travis (Peyton, Colo.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An interchangeable dog harness that includes an upper frame, a lower frame, and an interchangeable cape, wherein the upper frame and lower frame are adjustable to accommodate various dog sizes, and the interchangeable cape is designed to be used in a variety of situations the dog may face."
The patent was filed on June 29, 2020, under Application No. 16/916,028.
