ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,361,671, issued on July 15, was assigned to Rapiscan Systems Inc. (Torrance, Calif.).

"Methods and systems for accurate visual layer separation in the displays of scanning systems" was invented by Mark Procter (Wilmslow, Great Britain) and James Ollier (Huyton, Great Britain).
