ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,311,075, issued on May 27, was assigned to Ramot at Tel-Aviv University Ltd. (Tel-Aviv, Israel).
"Particles comprising decellularized omentum" was invented by Tal Dvir (LeHavim, Israel), Assaf Shapira (Moshav Talmei Elazar, Israel), Michal Shevach (Tel-Aviv, Israel) and Idan Gal (Rishon-LeZion, Israel).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A spherical particle comprising decellularized omentum being between 1 nM-300 MuM in diameter is disclosed. In some embodiments, the particle comprises biological cells. In other embodiments, the particle comprises a biomolecule. Uses of the particles are also disclosed."
