ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,469,529, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Rambus Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

The buffer IC chip includes host interface circuitry to receive a read command to retrieve read data from a memory. Memory interface circuitry couples to the memory.
