ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,224,748, issued on Feb. 11, was assigned to Rambus Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).
"Integrated circuit with configurable on-die termination" was invented by Huy Nguyen (San Jose, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described are integrated-circuit die with differential receivers, the inputs of which are coupled to external signal pads. Termination legs coupled to the signal pads support multiple termination topologies. These termination legs can support adjustable impedances, capacitances, or both, which may be controlled using an integrated memory."
The patent was filed on Nov. 7, 2023, under Application No. 18/504,032.
