ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,234,044, issued on Feb. 25, was assigned to Rakuten Group Inc. (Tokyo).

"Wildlife warning system for aerial vehicle" was invented by Takumi Yamato (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An aerial vehicle according to the present invention includes: at least one rotor configured to generate an air flow for lifting; and at least one sound producing structure having an opening and configured to produce sound for scaring birds and animals when the air flow generated by the rotor causes air to flow into the opening."

The patent was filed on Oct. 15, 2019, under Application No. 16/978,899.
