ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,389,070, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Rakuten Group Inc. (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The generator (141) generates a group (for example, a group chat) for viewers of a video introducing a product to interact with each other on social media (for example, a messenger service). The detector (142) detects a viewer who has viewed the video introducing the product and purchased the product.
