ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,375, issued on April 15, was assigned to RACE CADDY LLC (Barrington, Ill.).
"Helmet holder" was invented by John Luc Jodoin (Barrington, Ill.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A holder for retaining a helmet and a head and neck support device connected to the helmet. The holder has a base and a tongue. The base has a top surface and a u-shaped cavity extending into the base from the top surface. The u-shaped cavity generally has two arms and a bottom wall. The head and neck support device is retained in the u-shaped cavity, and the tongue assists in retaining the helmet."
